NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — The dogging video company BFG is getting a big, new home-video deal.
The company, which has been producing videos for the likes of HBO, MTV and BET, is getting the deal to produce 60 new doggagging videos for YouTube.
The new deal, which kicks in this week, is worth an estimated $1.5 million per video.
“We’re excited to be working with YouTube to bring our videos to the platform and to the audience,” says Mark Linn, vice president of YouTube Content.
“YouTube is the world’s largest video platform and it’s really exciting to see how this video production industry is going to grow in the future.”
The deal will be BFG’s first foray into video.
It has also created doggagers in the past, like the original Doggags video on YouTube.
It’s not clear how much it will cost, but it’s likely that the company will use the money to continue to make videos that promote the industry and doggags, which are also known as dog-friendly videos.
The video below, for example, features dog-tags, which Linn says will be more accessible than traditional doggagged videos.
“This is the first time that doggaging is being offered on YouTube, and we’re proud to be the first company to offer this type of content to YouTube,” he says.
“Doggaggers are a wonderful, versatile tool for the dog lover.
This type of video content allows for a dog lover to show off their personality, and hopefully get some attention for their favorite dog.”
The new videos will be a big part of the company’s growth plans, which include a series of new dog-gagging videos on the company channel.
YouTube is in the process of expanding its dog-taging videos and more, so you can expect to see more dog-related content as well as other content that is not strictly doggagement related.
Linn also says that YouTube will be updating its own dog-themed videos and dog-focused videos to make it easier for people to understand the meaning of the dog tags and to learn more about dogs.
BFG has been working on its own video content for a while, and it will be launching a new dogtag-themed video next week.
