Bleacher Sports, the sports network owned by the NBA, the NHL, Major League Baseball, the NFL and Major League Soccer, announced Thursday that it will air an episode of the “Battleground” series titled “The Biggest Hustle: The Fight for the Ring.”
“The Bigest Hustle” will feature highlights from boxing’s biggest fights including Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s superfight with Manny Pacquiao, the welterweight champion, as well as Andre Ward’s unification bout with Gennady Golovkin.
In addition, the show will feature a preview of the upcoming Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquaio superfight at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on June 26.
The show is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
The network also announced that it plans to air two boxing documentaries.
“The Rise of the Boxing Legend: The Great Khan” and “The Greatest Boxing Story Ever Told.”
Both series will feature interviews with boxing’s greatest fighters, including Mayweather, Pacquia, Khan, Mayweather Jr. and many more.
The network also said it will debut a boxing documentary titled “Boxing: The Rise of Boxing in America.”
The network plans to debut a documentary called “The Ultimate History of Boxing,” which will feature footage from all of the biggest fights in boxing history.
It will feature more than 300 hours of footage, including interviews with all of boxing’s top fighters.
The documentary will be released this fall.
The “Biggest Hustles” will air every Tuesday at 10 p.m.
ET/PT on the ESPN App, the ESPN website, ESPN Deportes and ESPN Depo.
The series will also premiere in the United Kingdom on June 22.
The first episode of “The Great Khan,” which premieres June 26, will be produced by Spike TV and the Showtime brand.
It stars Floyd Mayweather, Manny Paczua, Khan and more.
The Mayweather vs Pacquio super fight will take place at Barclays center in Brooklyn, New York, on June 6.
