
Titans RB Matt Asiata goes off in the 4th quarter to help lead Jets win
Titans RBMatt Asiatia scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter and helped the Titans defeat the Jets 23-20.
Asiata, a former fifth-round pick, rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, including a 52-yarder.
He had one catch for 10 yards.
The Titans (5-6) were coming off a loss to the Jets on Saturday.
The Titans had been leading 26-23 at halftime before Asiati went off for a 22-yard touchdown run with 3:45 remaining.
The score was the first score of the game for the Titans since Week 6, when they beat the Jets 26-13.
Jets rookie wide receiver Jacoby Ford caught a pass in the end zone on the play, but it was ruled a fumble, which meant he could not return the ball.
As a team, the Jets had 10 sacks, 14 quarterback hits and eight passes defensed.
